MP HC Directs State to Pay Compensation to NDPS Accused for Violation of Fundamental Right - 20.09.2021

Madhya Pradesh High Court has directed state government to pay 50,000/- to an Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 accused within 15 days for "violation of his fundamental right" who has been behind bars since January 2018 and the prosecution failed to present its witnesses before the Court for the trial.
