Delhi HC Issues Notice on Plea Challenging Bar Associations Rules Framed by Delhi Bar Council - 17.09.2021

Delhi High Court has issued notice on a petition challenging Bar Associations (Constitution, Recognition and Conduct of Elections) Rules, 2019 framed by the Delhi Bar Council and approved by the Bar Council of India as null and void being ultra vires the Constitution of India, 1949, Advocates Act, 1961 and Advocates Welfare Funds Act, 2001.
