Gauhati HC: Section 29 and 30 POCSO Act Doesn’t Relieve Prosecution of Burden to Prove Case - 15.09.2021

Gauhati High Court has observed that Section 29 & 30 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 doesn't actually relieve the prosecution of its burden to prove a case; however, these provisions only lessen the prosecution's burden by shifting the onus of proof to the accused.
