Patna HC: No Provision Providing for Right to Appeal by Victim Seeking Enhancement of Sentence - 31.08.2021

Patna High Court has observed that there is no provision under the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 which provides for a right to appeal by the 'victim' seeking enhancement of sentence awarded to accused on the ground that an inadequate sentence of order has been passed.
