Bombay HC Grants Liberty to Woman to Undergo Medical Termination of Pregnancy - 18.08.2021

Bombay High Court has granted liberty to a woman to undergo medical termination of her pregnancy, who was alleged suffering from domestic violence repeatedly. The Court has noted that the petitioner woman had filed a police complaint against violence meted out to her by her husband, besides lodging complaint before the competent magistrate under the provisions of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005.
