Allahabad HC: Administration of Office of Government Advocate to Run on Principles of Accountability - 02.08.2021

Allahabad High Court has observed that the administration of the office of Government Advocate has to run on principles of accountability and not appeasement, noting that the orders passed by the Court are not being taken seriously in a case wherein there was a failure on the part of the State Government to produce the affidavit as directed by the Court and the Court noted that it was on account of negligence shown by the counsels for the State.
