Bombay HC Declines Lawyers’ Plea to be Considered as Essential Staff to Enable Use of Local Trains - 14.07.2021

Bombay High Court has said it could not go beyond medical advice and declare lawyers as essential staff to enable them to use local trains to travel to work during the COVID-19 pandemic, in a couple of public interest litigation petitions seeking inclusion of lawyers in the list of essential staff and to permit them to travel by the special suburban/local trains being run during the pandemic.
