P&H High Court Rules, Gift From Abroad Not Part of Income - 18.02.2016

P&H High Court, while deciding old controversy hovering around two monetary gifts of $4 lakh for Oswal daughters, has made it clear that gifts received by Managing Director of Ludhiana-based Oswal Woollen Mills Limited, Jawahar Lal Oswal, for and on behalf of his daughters in England were valid.
