Madras HC Directs Government to Ensure Homeless People are Vaccinated on Urgent Basis - 02.07.2021

Madras High Court has directed the Tamil Nadu Government to ensure that vulnerable persons such as homeless, pavement dwellers, etc. are vaccinated on an urgent basis, as they stand more exposed to Covid-19. The Court has directed that all the Corporations, Municipalities and Town Panchayats should be sensitized to ensure that these vulnerable persons be regarded as candidates for 'immediate urgent vaccination'.
