Calcutta High Court Issues Notice on Plea Challenging IT Rules 2021 - 01.07.2021

Calcutta High Court has issued notice in the plea challenging the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and digital Media ethic code) Rules, 2021 for being ulra vires to the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Constitution of India, 1949 and has directed the Centre to file a counter affidavit before 19th July, 2021.
