Delhi HC Directs on Making Necessary Arrangements for Dhobi Ghat Jhuggi Dwellers - 08.06.2021

Delhi High Court has remarked that Dhobi Ghat Jhuggi Dwellers cannot be left on the streets to fend for themselves, finding themselves evicted from a place where they claim to have been living for the past two decades. The Court has directed the Delhi Government to make necessary arrangements for them and the costs of the same would be reimbursed by the Delhi Development Authority.
