CBIC Issues Circular Extending Validity of Authorized Economic Operator Certificates - 27.05.2021

Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has issued a circular where the validity of the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) is extended so as to ease the renewal process. The Board has decided to extend the validity of all the AEO Certificates expired/expiring between April 1, 2021 and May 31, 2021 to June 30, 2021, except for the cases where the entity has been found ineligible for continuation under the AEO Programme.
