Karnataka HC Directs State to Ensure Distribution of Free Food Packets to Poor People - 12.05.2021

Karnataka High Court has directed the State government to ensure distribution of free food packets at locations close to areas where the poor live, if Indira Canteens are located at faraway places. The Court has also said the scheme of distribution of free food packets to vulnerable sections of society should be continued beyond 24th May, 2021 if the government extends the lockdown.
