Bombay High Court Issues Notice to NIA on Stan Swamy's Bail Plea in Bhima Koregaon Case - 05.05.2021

Bombay High Court has issued notice to the State and National Investigating Agency (NIA) on the bail pleas of Father Stan Swamy, an 84-year-old tribal rights activist accused in the Bhima Koregaon – Elgaar Parishad case. The Court has also condoned 189- day delay in filing an appeal against the trial court's refusal to release him on emergency bail in October, 2020.
