Karnataka HC Directs State to Evolve Scheme for Vaccination of Persons with Benchmark Disability - 28.04.2021

Karnataka High Court has directed the State government to evolve a scheme or mechanism for giving priority to vaccination of covid-19, to persons with benchmark disabilities. The Court has said State government may consider authorizing district welfare officer or any other officer to receive request for vaccination either by SMS email or Whatsapp either from person suffering from benchmark disability or their caregivers.
