Uttar Pradesh Government Says Can't Impose Lockdown in 5 Cities Despite Allahabad HC Order - 20.04.2021

Uttar Pradesh Government has refused to implement the High Court-ordered lockdown in the 5 cities of the State. Allahabad High Court had imposed Lockdown till 26th April 2021, noting that the recent surge of pandemic COVID-19 has virtually incapacitated all medical infrastructure in the State of U.P. and especially in cities like Prayagraj, Lucknow, Varanasi, Kanpur, and Gorakhpur.
