Gauhati HC Seeks State's Response on PIL Alleging Inadequate Funding for Transgender Community - 06.04.2021

Gauhati High Court has sought response from the Assam Government on a petition alleging failure of the state authorities to maintain shelter homes for the transgender community. The Court has directed the Additional Senior Government Advocate to seek instructions in the matter and by April 8, 2021.
