Delhi High Court: Heinous Crimes Cannot be Quashed by Court Even if Parties Reach Compromise - 01.04.2021

Delhi High Court has reiterated that heinous crimes like rape cannot be quashed by exercising inherent power under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (CrPC) even if a compromise has been reached between parties.
