Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Scheme being extended to 61 more districts

The Ministry of Women & Child Development has extended its Beti Bachao Beti Padhao initiatives to an 61 additional districts, from the 100 it had encompassed at inception. The Ministry is also launching new schemes on National Nutrition to provide nutritious, balanced and healthy food to children across the country.
