Madras HC Grants Compensation to Woman's Family Who Fell from Overcrowded Train - 26.03.2021

Madras High Court has ordered compensation of Rs. 8 lakh along with 6% interest to the family of a woman who died in the year 2014 as she was travelling in an EMU, admonishing the Railway Authorities for their failure to provide adequate safety measures, more specifically, in EMU trains.
