Karnataka HC Refuses Plea to Allow All Senior Citizens to Cast Vote Through Postal Ballots - 24.03.2021

Karnataka High Court has refused to entertain a plea which sought to permit all senior citizens to cast vote through postal ballots. The Court has dismissed the Public Interest Litigation stating that it is not for the writ Court to issue a mandamus directing that all senior citizens be permitted to exercise their franchise through postal ballot.
