Delhi HC: Accused Can Seek Conversion of Summary Trial to Summons Trial After Disclosing Defence - 18.03.2021

Delhi High Court has observed that in a trial for the offence of cheque dishonour under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, the accused can seek the conversion of summary trial as summons trial only after disclosing his plea of defence.
