SC Issues Notice on DMK MP RS Bharati's Plea Seeking to Quash Criminal Case Under SC/ST Act - 12.03.2021

Supreme Court has issued notice on a plea filed by a DMK leader and Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament R S Bharathi challenging a Madras High Court's refusal to quash a chargesheet filed against him under the Scheduled Castes and Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 over a speech made by him.
