Delhi HC Directs Filing of Status Report in Alleged Murder of 23-Year Old Undertrial Prisoner - 25.02.2021

Delhi High Court has directed the Delhi Police to file a status report within 3 days in a compensation petition on the alleged murder of a 23-year old undertrial, Dilsher Azad in Delhi's Tihar jail. The Court has also asked the respondents of the petition, the state of Delhi, the Director General and the Superintendent, Tihar Jail to clarify whether any First Information Report and chargesheet have been filed with respect to the incident.
