SC: Pollution-Free Water is Fundamental Right Which Welfare State is Bound to Ensure - 10.02.2021

Supreme Court has called for response from the Ministry of Jal Shakti in pursuance of its suo motu cognisance of the issue of "remediation of polluted rivers", foremost the contamination of the Yamuna, observing that pollution-free water is a fundamental right which a welfare state is bound to ensure.
