SC Issues Notice on Plea Challenging Order Directing Removal of Encroachments in 'Forest Like Areas' - 09.02.2021

Supreme Court has issued notice in the plea filed challenging order of the National Green Tribunal directing the Collector and Forest Department to straightaway remove encroachments found in 'forest alike areas' in Mahabaleshwar and Panchgani Region Maharashtra with no approval of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.
