SC: Recruitment of Candidates in Excess of Notified Vacancies Violative of Articles 14 and 16 - 08.02.2021

Supreme Court has observed that recruitment of candidates in excess of the notified vacancies, will be violative of Articles 14 and 16 (1) of the Constitution of India, 1949, stating that an authority cannot fill up more than the notified number of vacancies advertised.
