Delhi HC Refuses to Quash Rape Case Where Accused and Complainant Settled - 02.02.2021

Delhi High Court has refused to quash a Rape Case on the basis of compromise entered into between the parties, wherein petitioner/accused and the respondent/complaint decided to stay as husband and wife, stating that such crime endangers the well-being of the society, it is not safe to leave the crime doer only because he and the victim have settled the dispute amicably.
