Orissa HC Directs Payment of Compensation to Purna Chandra Mohapatra for Death of Son - 02.02.2021

Orissa High Court has directed that a sum of Rupees 5 Lakhs be paid by the State of Odisha to one Purna Chandra Mohapatra and his wife as compensation for the avoidable death of Manoj (their son), while in their custody, on account of police negligence.
