#Union Budget 2021-2022: Union Govt Proposes Agriculture Infrastructure and Development Cess - 01.02.2021

Union Government has proposed Agriculture Infrastructure and Development Cess (AIDC) on petrol and diesel at the rate of Rs.2.5/litre on petrol and Rs.4/litre on diesel. Consequent to imposition of AIDC, the Basic Excise Duty (BED) and Special Additional Excise Duty (SAED) on petrol and diesel has been reduced to reduce additional burden on the consumer.
