Karnataka HC: City Crime Branch Not a Police Station, Court Cannot Take Cognizance of Report - 29.01.2021

Karnataka High Court has held that City Crime Branch (CCB) is not a police station and therefore the final report filed by it is not in contemplation with the provisions of Section 173(2) of the Code of Criminal Code, 1973. The Magistrate Court cannot take cognizance of the report.
