Bombay HC: Groping Without ‘Skin-to-Skin Contact’ to Amount to Molestation, Not Sexual Assault - 25.01.2021

Bombay High Court has held that groping a child's breasts without 'skin-to-skin contact' would amount to molestation under the Indian Penal Code, 1860 but not the graver offence of 'sexual assault' under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act, 2012.
