Delhi HC: Parents of Dead Accident Victim to be Treated as Dependants for Compensation - 15.01.2021

Delhi High Court has held that parents of a dead accident victim are to be treated as dependants to award compensation. The Court has clarified that loss to the estate was not applicable to the claim of the parents in respect of the death of their child, since they were eligible for compensation under the category of dependants.
