Allahabad HC: Writ of Mandamus Cannot be Issued to a Private Body - 14.01.2021

Allahabad High Court in Arif Khan v. Branch Manager Mahindra Finance Sultanpur & Another, observed that writ of Mandamus cannot be issued to a private body, Mahindra and it does not comes under the ambit of Article 12 of the Constitution of India, 1949.
