Gujarat HC Directs Authority to Refund Amount on Bills of Entry for Imported Goods - 29.12.2020

Gujarat High Court has directed the Customs Authority to refund the amount collected as stamp duty on Bills of Entry filed for the imported goods, quashing the order of the Customs Officer requiring a document evidencing payment of stamp duty submitted before the Officer in regards of the Bills of Entry.
