Uttarakhand HC Issues Notice on Plea Seeking Ban on Private Shooters to Kill ‘Man-Eaters’ - 11.12.2020

Uttarakhand High Court has issued notices to the State Government, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (wildlife), chief wildlife warden and director general of police giving them four weeks to respond to a Public Interest Litigation which demanded a ban on engaging private shooters to kill the animals that have been declared ‘man-eaters’.
