Govt. Reiterates Tax on Gold Monetisation Scheme - 25.01.2016

Govt. has said that interest earned on deposits under Central Government’s Gold Monetisation Scheme will not attract any tax; gain through trading or redemption will also be exempted from capital gains tax.
