Gauhati HC Issues Notice on PIL for Appointments to National Council for Transgenders - 22.10.2020

Gauhati High Court has issued notice in a public interest litigation seeking issuance of directions to the Centre for taking "immediate and effective steps" for the appointment of the National Council for Transgenders in accordance with Section 16 of the Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act, 2019.
