SC Questions J&K Administration on Detention of Mehbooba Mufti - 30.09.2020

Supreme Court has asked the Jammu and Kashmir administration on how long it intended to detain former chief minister, Mehbooba Mufti under the Public Safety Act, 1978 which was invoked to take politicians and divisive elements into preventive custody after scrapping the erstwhile state’s special status and its division into two Union Territories.
