Madras HC Issues Notice to A R Rahman Over IT Department's Plea of Evasion of Tax - 14.09.2020

Madras High Court has issued notice to music composer, A R Rahman on a Petition filed by the Income Tax department alleging that he used a foundation in which he is the managing trustee as a conduit to evade tax and routed Rs 3 Crores plus income to it.
