NGT Directs TMC to Not to Give Nod for Construction in Forest Areas of Yeoor - 19.01.2016

National Green Tribunal (NGT), while hearing a petition filed by NGO Vanashakti, has asked Thane Municipal Commissioner (TMC) to not issue permissions for construction inside forest areas of Yeoor and also directed them for an immediate halt to cutting of hills and destruction going on at Dindoshi.
