NGT slams State Authorities Over Chopping of 8000 Trees in Durgapur - 14.08.2015

National Green Tribunal (NGT), slammed State authorities on why decision was taken to chop over 8,000 full grown trees on a green verge in Durgapur. NGT passed an interim order, directing that no further degradation of ambient air quality in Durgapur should be allowed till further orders.
