SC Allows Centre for 'Comprehensive Re-look' on Order Excluding Assam from 'Inner Line Permit' Area - 01.09.2020

Supreme Court has allowed the Central Government 4 weeks to have a comprehensive re-look in the plea challenging the Adaptation of Laws (Amendment) Order 2019, whereby the State of Assam has been excluded from Inner Line Area, in light of the Citizenship Amendment Act, 2019.
