General guidelines for implementation of e-payment of excise refund and rebate

MANU/EXCR/0002/2016

The Central Board of Excise and Customs has prescribed procedure for e-payment of refund and rebate. The procedure is hoped to speed transfer of funds directly to beneficiary bank accounts, once funds are sanctioned. The guidelines, aside from laying down procedure for e-payment, also provide a procedure for reconciliation and contain forms to be submitted for the same.
