Procedural requirements for Leave Travel Concession simplified

Department of Personnel and Training has simplified the application and settlement of the Leave Travel Concession claims by government employees. A time limit of five days each is set for sanctioning of leave, sanctioning of LTC advance, time taken by DDO and PAO. Whereas employees were earlier required to inform their Controlling Officer before journeying on LTC, a self-certification from the employee regarding the proposed journey will now suffice.
