CCI (Procedure in regard to the transaction of business relating to combinations) Amendment Regulations, 2016

The Competition Commission of India released Regulations amending the Competition Commission of India (Procedure in regard to the transaction of business relating to combinations) Regulations, 2011. Changes are aimed at streamlining and simplifying rules related to merger and acquisition filings. Noteworthy is also is the inclusion of declarations instead of verifications that extend the responsibility towards accuracy of estimates.
