Delhi HC: High Court Cannot Exercise Power When Remedy of Statutory Appeal Exists - 29.07.2020

Delhi High Court has held that High Court cannot entertain the Petition in its extraordinary power under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, given the fact that there is a clear remedy of Appeal under Section 29 of the Protection of Women against Domestic Violence Act, 2005.
