Employees Pension Scheme

The Minister of State for Labour and Employment stated the government had constituted an Expert Committee to review Employees' Pension Scheme, 1995 which recommended providing minimum pension of Rs. 1000 per month to the pensioners under the 1995 Scheme and enhancing wage ceiling under the Employees' Provident Funds & Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952 from Rs. 6,500/- per month to Rs. 10,000 per month.
