Rajasthan HC: SC Order Extending Limitation Not to Extend Period u/s 167 (2) Cr.P.C. - 27.05.2020

Rajasthan HC has rejected the contention that till the lockdown continues, the period prescribed in Section 167(2) of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973(Cr.P.C.) stands automatically extended in view of 23rd March SC order, as it has the binding effect by virtue of Articles 141 & 142 of Constitution.
