Bombay HC: No Illegal Punishment Under the Garb of Lockdown - 11.05.2020

Bombay High Court has contended that certain police personnel are guilty of gross violation of human rights as they subjected lockdown violators including senior citizens to 'inhuman indignities'. The Court has also observed that police cannot resort to illegal methods or punishments in the garb of enforcing the lockdown.
